北洋造库平七钱二分三十四年光绪元宝造于一九零八年，它是有袁世凯北洋政府实行新币制度及推广国币的产物，银币正面中央珠圈内镌满汉文“光绪元宝”四个字，珠圈外上端镌汉文“北洋造”，下端镌汉文币值“库平七钱二分”，左右两端各镌一个圆点。银币背面中央镌蟠龙图，上环镌英文“光绪34年”，下镌英文“北洋”，左右两端，稍下侧各镌一个圆点。此枚银币制作工艺精湛，纹饰清晰，包浆浑厚自然，为晚清时期机制币精品，较为罕见，收藏价值极高。

This silver coin is made with exquisite workmanship, clear decorative patterns and thick and natural pulp. It is a fine coin of mechanism in late qing dynasty.
