清华大学五道口金融学院欢迎劳伦斯·H·萨默斯教授，前世界银行首席经济学家、美国财政部长、美国国家经济委员会主任、哈佛大学校长，就中美关系在“未来已来——全球领袖论天下”系列讲座中发表演讲。
Tsinghua PBC School of Finance welcomes Prof. Lawrence H. 劳伦斯·H·萨默斯
Prof. Lawrence H. Summers哈佛大学教授
Professor at Harvard University
萨默斯教授目前担任花旗集团的顾问，是首位获得“美国国家科学基金会沃特曼奖”的社会科学家。他是美国国家科学学院成员，同时还是美国计量经济学学会会员和美国国家文理科学院成员。1999年至2001年，他曾任职美国财政部长。2001年起在哈佛大学担任校长。2006年作为卓越人士联席会议成员，负责监察联合国贸易及发展委员会工作。2008年的美国总统大选中，他担任奥巴马竞选班子的经济顾问。奥巴马当选总统后，他被提名白宫国家经济委员会主任。2010年至今, 萨默斯教授被聘为花旗集团的顾问。
Professor Lawrence H. Summers is currently a consultant to Citigroup. He was the first social scientist to win the Alan T. Waterman Award from the National Science Foundation. He is a member of the US National Academy of Sciences, the US Econometric Society and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. From 1999 to 2001, he served as the US Secretary of the Treasury. In 2001, he returned to Harvard University as President. In 2006, he became a member of the Panel of Eminent Persons and oversaw the work of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. In the 2008 US presidential election, he served as an economic advisor to the Obama campaign. After Obama took office, Professor Summers served as the Director of the White House National Economic Council. Since 2010, Professor Summers has been hired as a consultant for Citigroup.
朱民Dr. Min Zhu
清华大学国家金融研究院院长、IMF前副总裁Chair of National Institute of Financial Research (NIFR) at Tsinghua University
Former Deputy Managing Director of IMF
朱民博士目前任清华大学国家金融研究院院长，也是世界经济论坛董事会执行董事。朱民博士于2011年7月至2016年7月担任国际货币基金组织副总裁。此前，他曾担任中国人民银行副行长和中国银行副行长。他曾在世界银行工作，并在约翰霍普金斯大学和复旦大学讲授经济学。
Dr. Min Zhu is currently Chairman of the National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the World Economic Forum. Dr. Zhu was Deputy Managing Director at IMF from July 2011 to July 2016. Before that, he served as Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China. Prior to his service at China’s central bank, he worked as Group Executive Vice President in Bank of China. Dr. Zhu also worked at the World Bank and taught economics at both Johns Hopkins University and Fudan University.
